Refinishing refers to the process of taking worn or damaged case parts and restoring them to like new condition. Piano finishes will fade over time, are damaged by things such as sunlight, water, scratches from various things including improper dusting methods, and such. Refinishing usually involves removing or prepping the old finish, repairing any blemishes in the wood, and applying a new finish. Sometimes small touch ups can be done during a home visit, but I currently do not offer any major finishing/ refinishing services.
